Time to hang up your ugly Christmas sweaters folks, the most wine-derful time of the year has sadly come to an end (but don’t worry – the puns aren’t). A toast to a wonderful holiday! Let’s raise our glasses to another year of prosperity.

Read the post below to uncover some holiday statistics that can help you prepare for holidays throughout the year.

A taste of holiday liquor sales

Big spenders:

The entire holiday break experienced a large increase in sales. Looking at the total value (% change in dollars spent), total quantity (% change in units sold), and total transactions (% change in the number of transactions) we can see that the holiday weeks of December 17th to 31st saw an overall increase in all categories.

Here is a data-driven example of the classic holiday scramble on Christmas and New Years Eve.
